Loosalu bog is located in Rapla County, in the heart of the Kõnnumaa Landscape Protection Area, and is known for its quiet atmosphere and exceptional sense of peace. The hiking trail leads visitors through forests, across a wooden boardwalk, and past beautiful bog pools. The most striking feature of the bog is Lake Loosalu – the largest bog lake in Estonia, covering nearly 24 hectares. The lake lies entirely within the bog, and in some places its depth exceeds seven metres.

In autumn, the bog turns vibrant in colour and offers excellent opportunities for berry and mushroom picking. Loosalu bog is a wonderful place to experience the purity and untouched nature of Estonia.
